Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

We're seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across engineering and energy projects. This home-based role offers autonomy and variety, with regular site travel across the South.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of SHEQ strategies across engineering sites
Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Ensure ongoing compliance with SHEQ policies, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and project KPIs
Provide CDM 2015 oversight and guidance on Temporary Works procedures
Deliver SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training for operational teams
Develop and review RAMS tailored to engineering project needs
Support pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tender submissions with relevant SHEQ input
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant worksites
Monitor SHEQ performance and drive effective incident close-out through structured reporting systems
Requirements:
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and CMIOSH (or working towards)
Strong SHEQ experience in engineering/construction environments
CDM, RAMS, ISO (9001, 14001, 45001) knowledge
SMSTS, CSCS, and TWC preferred
