Project Manager - Pharma & Life Sciences
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team delivering projects within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager who understands the unique requirements of regulated environments and has experience working collaboratively with pharmaceutical or life sciences clients. While a background in construction or facilities projects is beneficial, success in this role depends more on your ability to manage client relationships, coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within highly regulated operational environments.
Working under a long-term Master Services Agreement, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium-sized projects from initial planning through to completion. You will act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
- Develop project plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical and life sciences clients
- Monitor project progress, risks and costs, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory, quality and safety requirements
- Oversee procurement, contract administration and change management where required
- Lead project meetings and coordinate project documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Previous experience working with pharmaceutical or life sciences clients is essential
- Strong understanding of project delivery within regulated environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience delivering projects from inception through to handover
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
