Are you a proactive and organised Project Engineer ready to take on challenging bespoke engineering projects?

Location: North West, Northern Ireland

Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Do you have:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline?
  • At least 2 years' experience in project engineering or a similar role?
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage project programmes and budgets?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project?
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport?
  • Willingness to be based in the North West of Northern Ireland and travel within the UK as required?

If so, you'll thrive in this role where you will lead and support the delivery of specialist engineering projects from initial planning through to handover. You'll work closely with design, production, commercial teams, and external suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing project programmes and budgets alongside internal teams
  • Coordinating procurement of materials and equipment to meet engineering specifications
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to monitor progress and quality
  • Conducting site visits to ensure production meets design and technical standards
  • Overseeing quality checks, inspections, and documentation before site delivery
  • Organising logistics, site preparation, health & safety documentation, and installation activities
  • Maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting contract administration and cost reporting
